It's made out of cast aluminium apparently (with an iron lid).. and measures in kgF Used it to torque my engine head https://streamable.com/o0wia https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/144793/fec601ee-39bb-4dd0-a0f1-e580cea354ed/photo_2018-05-10_12-23-58.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/144793/6af35480-a842-4a29-ac6f-9f76cece74a9/photo_2018-05-10_12-24-03.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/144793/e2ef363c-b158-4b98-9295-be88b6fdb9ed/photo_2018-05-10_12-24-01.jpg
Looks like a fucking blade of some sort
1986 rubles to dollars was ~0.73 per 1 dollar. So roughly 12 modern USD for that thing. P. cool
Doesn't seem to torque very high. Does that read 25 kgf? That's only 55lbsf. Does it also apparently dial in both directions? Seems both sides read the same numbers and meet at the position opposite of the 0.
It works in both directions, and it's actually kilogram of force per meter, not sure if it's kgf as if may refer to kilogram of force per centimeter. 1 kilogram force meter = 7.23301387 pound force feet (or Foot-pound?) so it goes up to 180.82 pound force feet (or Foot-pound?)
Oh fuck that's cool
Damn, that's metal.
