Milo does two different things that can be considered virtue signaling: He doesn't physically attack or threaten people, and He hangs out with people who are known to disagree with him on something political The reason those specific things can be considered virtue signalling is because they're done specifically to contrast oneself to the bad people, SJWs in this case, because they're supposedly things those bad people wouldn't do given the choice.
