We’ve fully cooperated in it, and in the interest of the country, I think it’s time to wrap it up.” What do you mean it takes forever to research a million documents, why isn't it done NOW.

It'd be in his best interest for Donald to be impeached, that means he would become president. What reason would he have to say something like this unless he also has something to worry about from the investigation?

On the other hand, if Trump is impeached then Pence probably wouldn't win a reelection afterward, especially if the impeachment was at the tail end of the term and Pence had no time to do anything to 'prove himself'. Whether he's guilty or not, Pence has tied his name to Trump's.

Today on Special Counsel watch: "The Vice President would rather bury the investigation now than have himself and his (surviving) allies be exonerated and their [i]complete[/i] innocence proven after a comprehensive investigation". Otherwise known as "End it before they indict me."

i think it's time for the GOP to actually do something good for once in their miserable lives but hey ho i guess we can't all get what we want as an aside i think it's fucking hilarious that the GOP are saying "haha you've had your time guys wrap it up" when they themselves wanted the clinton investigation to keep going and to keep being run until they got the result they wanted. the potential outcome of this investigation is several orders of magnitude greater than anything that could've come out of the clinton investigations. just yet another case of "it's okay when we do it."

Well, you see, Clinton was a complex issue and she just kept dodging the questions with her infuriating legalese. So we just had to make sure any time she answered a question that she answered the same question consistently; also we kept digging for information because why else would she dodge those questions except because she was guilty, so we had to keep calling her back to ask her about the evidence we kept finding. With Trump, it's easy, because its a simple issue: It's a witch hunt. There's nothing in it and nothing to it, so there's no point in it continuing.

Yeah, it is time to wrap it up, with Trump's impeachment as the result. Then again, Pence has probably been biding his time waiting for Trump to fail so he can take over.

I'm pretty sure that one of the reasons pence is saying this is because he knows the likelihood of trump doing something extremely stupid in regards to the investigation increases every moment trump continues to exist.
