Above are screenshots taken over the last two updates/months, ever since the introduction of boats.
It is a cruel irony as for years I've wanted boats in rust - but now we've got them, I can't see where I'm going to be able to use them!

During the day I get a blinding golden sheen with hints of primary colours, where I can hardly see the person in front of me and when at sea it's like I'm sailing on the sun (seek SS of what looks to be a guy boating on lava).

At night time, well, thats when the light show comes out and I get a whole mix of hues resonating from different parts of the ocean. Rivers tend to glow red, as if Rust is enacting a biblical plague for the crimes the players commit, and the waterfall.... weeell, I've sat with a chair in front of it and used it as a screen saver. It's like a lava lamp... just can't take your eyes off it (as you can't see much else).

To give some perspective, I "play" on an iMac (late 2012), on potato settings, with everything turned off (with a draw distance being an exception, set at 1,500).

It's evidently something to do with the implementations and changes brought into how water reacts/refracts light (when boats came in), and I'm just hoping that someone can help me turn off the acid mode and be able to resume gameplay - and hopefully - the ability to be able to approach/build near water again. I hoped it would be resolved last wipe, but alas the trip continues!

Also, Any tips for a mac user to get above 20 fps, I'm all ears.
