Personally I'm not a fan of this one. Towards the end I didn't really want to work on it but I need more than 5 for this series and I was too far in to abandon this one (it's hard to let go of hours of rendering to start over). I feel like I got carried away with the vegetation - it looks too overgrown. I'd do some neat little practice things to really get the hang of it if it wasn't for the deadline being friday next week
The render is still lovely. So what's the context of your assignment? How'd this become your homework?
ATAR Visual Art is the class that I'm doing this for. Each semester we have to make a production that follows the set theme. The theme atm is "Differences" and I've gone after the technology vs nature route and the conflict between the two being that overgrown stuff was always a minor obsession of mine (thanks The Last of Us). Because the way we go about the production is entirely up to us I'm able to use Gmod, convinient being the only medium now that I'm properly capable in. I can't exactly shove Gmod with all the assets onto the school computers so my only option is to do it at home, hence the home assignment. Most others are doing it in-class because they're all doing paintings and photography and whatnot.
I know this may just be my view of how it looks like from the outside, but god damn this sounds like a ton of fun
It is until you have to write an essay on this picture
