guys pls help after this update every server i joined the game stopped at loading and crashed i have to restart my pc and try again same thing i tried for 9 times and it all fails my pc 1050 ti 8 ram core i7 im glad to hear from any one
verify integrity of game cache, make sure steam is up to date, make sure rust is up to date, make sure windows is up to date

I have played rust a long time toppling many hours, it was my favorite game whenever I had spare time I would play it. I even got 4 of my friends to buy rust it would make my day whenever I got on a server pull out my rock and get to work. Fresh wipes were always stressful me and my friends would scramble trying to get a start up on a max pop server, we would always get killed and get mad respawn and after an hour or so we would build a startup base. I always was the one to get my friends bagged in to be the doorman while I went looking for loot. The PvP in rust was always fun I had a blast killing geared people and snatching an AK off them. Sometimes me and my friends would 4v8 people and win then get offline raided, the next day we logged in our base had been looted. It always sucked sometimes we would quit until the next wipe but sometimes we would persevere past the rage. Then one day I started to notice something bad about rust, there was a lot of cheaters. I swear sometimes I would be at least 300m from someone and they would just triple headshot me with M249. Some People even used noclip to get through walls and steal me and my friends loot the block us in our base. I understand that when your a early access game you have a lot of cheaters, but i always despised the game security and blamed it for ruining my fun. Sometimes one guy would wipe our squad getting all headshots or sometimes when fighting someone they would get suspiciously lucky and know exactly when and where we were going to peak or run to. I've played many games but rust always seemed to have more hackers than any game I played. You could go on any server and find a hacker or two either noclipping or running faster than you. But the most hack people used was ESP I swear 20% the people who play rust use it. I always wanted to try and see how what it was like using ESP, but my friends would always swear to play legit. Until one day when the new darker nights were implemented, I had just killed someone got their loot and was running away when I stumbled on a person he was armed with a bow and a mace I was at 10 hp. Running the opposite way now night approached when night hit you couldn't see anything, I quickly crouched and hid next to a truck 4 seconds later pitch black night a mace swing already in motion hits me. I was in terror I had lost my loot then when I looked in the chat someone was accusing him of cheating. I knew it he had used his ESP hacks to find me in the dark, I remember being so mad and angry that night the salt was real. I went on youtube and looked up rust hacks, I was in horror at what I saw almost every hack included ESP. That night at 12 o'clock I found one of the hack sites and downloaded a supposed cheat client. After waiting a while I logged onto a arena sever or something can't remember, to see if it worked I opened the client up and waited for it to work nothing happened so I gave up I logged off at 1 o'clock. When I went to go on my computer in the morning the internet didn't work then I got worried then later relized I had been cucked by a nasty virus. I tried to multiple things to get rid of it then I tried to restore my computer but the virus got rid of all my restore points. I was so mad so I had to spend 1 hour factory restarting my computer. When I got on my new computer I had lost all my progress on games all my porn and had to spend 4 hours restoring everything so I didnt play rust for 4 days then suddenly when opening up Ark Survival I get a ban notification so I click on it and I says I was banned on rust VAC secure servers I was so mad. I haven't been able to play rust since then I had to tell all my friends I had been banned they were upset I could play with them now. Since then the game has gone up to 35 dollars and I'm not gonna spend that kind of money on rust now since I got it for 20 dollars and I feel like i got my money's worth already please devs if you are reading this unban me I am a trustworthy person and I will never try to cheat again. I really love rust and want to see it thrive but I always get upset whenever I remember I have bought the game but cant play it anymore. My friends along with my determination to play rust again have made me write this. I hope if you read this you understand my situation and recognize how I lost a great game along with great times.
