No sources needed for this. Stan Lee has been given control of his own twitter account after letting other people post on his behalf for nine years.

It's very menial news, I know, but it's genuinely nice to see him get some media independence again after the absolute shitshow that his life has been in the past year or so.

Well that's in response after everyone went crazy after a Youtube video of him signing merch for fans was uploaded and a youtuber was going on about him being abused by people including his family ect, then the internet blew everything out of proportion as usual and Stan Lee got upset because it wasn't true.

Some people have been trying to essentially separate Stan Lee from his circle of friends and family by spreading misinformation, notably in the form of a document signed by Lee which contained numerous claims of abuse within that circle.

Since Lee suffers from Macular Degeneration and basically cannot see anything, let alone read small text by himself, he's claimed that the document in question likely only ended up having his signature because he was lied to about its contents. The video that was posted earlier cuts off before they get to the macular degeneration part but there is a second cut somewhere around the internet shot in the same room where he actually does explain the fact he's practically blind.

He understandably is pretty pissed off about both the slanderous document and the news which reported on it, and has seemingly been under quite a bit of stress as a result of it. More stress than a 95 year old who's nearly blind should have to deal with.
