Eh...doesn't exactly work when they're using camera techniques/cinematography of today's age instead of 50's-60's style cinematography.
When I saw the thumbnail for Mr. Incredible, I was actually expecting him to be like the Stretch Armstrong toy.

The camerawork wasn't what did this for me as much as some of the editing. A filter over the video and audio won't do much to make a super-clean Mr. Incredible pushing the next shot into frame less advanced.
Still loved the ads though, Tom Kane has a great voice for these things.
