Now to transplant it on a man, and develop the wonderful kickass snail man to fight crime
Make a slug retract its body with non lethal dosis of salt. Transplant those nerves to a man and wait for his next dinner.
Followed by said man falling on the floor, attempting to slither slowly across the carpet with an expressionless face. Cause you just implanted a snail's conscious into a person...

Come visit Total Recall today!
imagine this on a human scale where you could transplant the memories of a phd professor to a student saving the student a lifetime of schooling.
i swear this was mentioned on the ricky gervais xfm show like 15 years ago but i can't find it...
Memory transplant is so cool but creepy. Although this is only a snail it still raises a ton of ethical issues. I wonder how much the human mind could handle if it could get the memories of others before reaching a breaking point.
Imagine you create a biological weapon which turns everyone into the memories of karl pilkington
Right? This is going to go straight into the Metal Gear Solid shit about memories being passed on via genetics. Don't let the CRISPR-Cas9 team work with this team

Nice, maybe in the future we can get exaggerated science articles injected directly into our brains!
I feel like it's a bit strong to use the word 'memory' here. It sounds to me the electrical shock causes expression of RNA which in turn causes increased sensitivity to the electrical shock. Seems pretty obvious, then, that the RNA would also cause increased sensitivity in a different individual, but I'm not sure why the word 'memory' is being used for that. I highly doubt something like a learned sensitivity works the same way a memory of a past event.
And debts.
Knowing big companies, this might be just another debt.
But hopefully this would be quicker at least.
