The midterm elections are coming up and if Republicans don't hold the blue wave back, the Democrats are going to cockblock Trump the way Obama's red-dominated Congress kept him from getting anything done -- and they'll continue the very real threat of impeachment against Trump by way of the various investigations into Trump, Cohen, and so on.

Maybe if their sole opposition weren't outright proud about obstructing any effort to curtail illegal immigration, the Republican Party might have to actually behave like decent human beings, instead of being able to say or do anything and still be guaranteed votes for being the only party willing to do anything about the problem.
