It doesn't help that the animation is absolutely stilted
Honestly I find it absolutely beautiful to look at in some weird way. It looks to me that they literally took the Captain America comics at the time, cut them out, and sorta jankily animated them with some voice work. It's as dirt cheap as it can get but its really fun to see Kirby's art moving, albeit stilted. I dig it.
the avenger's emergency fund has been drained by a staggering bill for all the train damages
It's so stilted looking that the few parts they rotoscoped took creepy as hell.
Bucky has come a long way
HALP HALLLLP I'M FALLING
The old spiderman cartoon looks and is animated very similar to this, and that was one of my favourite cartoons growing up since it'd come on late, and I was always a huge insomniac. Something about how shoddy everything is, audio included, makes these ridiculously cozy to watch.
Pfft, Captain America. I prefer the real hero.

The context of the avengers going bankrupt for destroying a single train is hilarious to the amount of collateral damage in the first avengers movie.
