So basically about a week ago it was towards the end of wipe on the server me and my friends were playing on at the time, and there was this group of guys who we were 100% sure were cheating, we always died to these guys over and over, i tried contacting the admin, F7 reporting them but nothing. So salty, mad, sad, dumb ol me decided hey! lets get an alt account and cheat right back. Even my friends didn't agree with what i was doing, but i was so mad that i didn't care, you cant say you haven't had one of those moments. I only used it one day, and one day only. Now in no way im saying that"oh its okay i only cheated one day".What im trying to say is that im sorry. Ive put so much time into rust, been there sense mutant wolfs and bears, i love the shit out of rust. Im really sorry i did it, I know how dumb i am bc of it. Now, I haven't got a "Rust Ban" yet but some servers i get "Ban Evasion", I really don't want to get banned, I've took to much time outa my life in that game. So if there is anything i could possibly do to maybe "fix" it or something, Please let me know, ill do anything to be able to play with my friends on the servers they play on. I have completely deleted everything that is related to the cheat. I know this doesn't make me free of the thing i did. If you are a rust staff reading this and are feeling courteous or forgiving, Please Please Please talk to me.

Don't listen to Jinx, you have to beg Garry personally. Usually he ignores people at first so you have to be really insistent to make it clear you really want to be forgiven, it may take a couple dozen messages on several of his social media accounts, just a heads up.
What form of social media would you think is best?
I would do all of them because he doesn't check them all very often, so like his Steam, Twitter, Facebook if you can find it, business email, etc. Basically any avenue you can find you should send a good dozen messages to, to begin with.

Getting perma banned in Rust nowadays gets you HWID banned from the game. It's likely his other account got blocked as well, as will any accounts made unless he gets a whole new rig.
Also, if apologising and promising to never do it again was all it took to get a ban removed then they might as well never ban in the first place.
Imagine how clever you would feel as a dumb kid thinking of using an alt to avoid a ban
and then oh your main account is banned too now woops lol
The sticky clearly states Rust devs do not handle EAC bans.
And EAC does not have a "promises to be a good boy" unban clause. There are no second chances for cheating. Treat this as a life lesson.
