I know it's not saying anything new about a man who wants all his stuff to be gold, but it's pretty hilarious how insecure Trump is about his wealth and status when it involves anyone slightly more successful than him.
Gates added that his daughter came up in conversation when the pair first talked.
“It was actually kind of scary how much he knew about my daughter’s appearance,” Gates said. “Melinda didn’t like that.”

In an interview last month with STAT News, Gates talked about meeting with Trump in March and bringing up the need for a White House science adviser. The president responded by offering Gates the job, he said.
Gates said he wasn’t sure if Trump was serious or if he was just “being friendly,” but he turned down the offer.
“That’s not a good use of my time,” Gates remembered telling Trump.
Trump really does operate purely on impulse and tries to hire people because he likes what they just said to him a moment ago.
He described the first sentence Trump said to him when he walked into their meeting.
“He said, ‘Trump hears that you don’t like what Trump is doing,’ and I thought, ‘Wow, but you’re Trump,’ ” said Gates, pointing his finger at an imaginary Trump, a perplexed look on his face.
Hah, holy shit. Who the fuck talks like that? Except Trump of course.

Thinking about it, didn't that guy who worked on the early Forbes 500 lists talk about how Trump would call him posing as other people or talk about himself in third person when he was trying to make himself look bigger?
One of the fake names for his imaginary press agent whatever dude who he pretended to be whenever he made calls like this was "John Barron". He allegedly frequently called the tabloids and celebrity gossip mags with bollocks that would make him look good - or sometimes controversial, just to have his name and face in print.
Even i don't know the difference, I just know they are an STD and deadly.

You don't really need to know the difference. You just need to be aware they're not the same thing which is a far more difficult task to screw up.
Rich kid born into wealth meets poor kid who built up from practically nothing. I can see how he'd be super embarrassed.
And the poor kid ended up being a few magnitudes richer. Meanwhile we know Trump does everything in his power to inflate how rich he is, and even with his wildest claims, he's still at least 10 times poorer than Gates. That's gotta bruise his ego.

HIV, at least in the developed world, is rarely deadly these days, and tends to be a chronic condition. Antiretrovirals have been largely effective at stopping HIV causing AIDS. HPV can cause cervical cancer and I think I heard recently that it has been linked to prostate cancer too, but it's more the volume of HPV cases making this a problem, as it's quite rare that it causes cancer.
Pretty obviously not rich on the same level as Trump's family though. Gates is still quite clearly responsible for him attaining the wealth he has today whereas Trump is riding the coattails of his father and grandfather.

Of course but that still doesn't mean that Trump and Gates are in the same class. Gates had it easier than the majority of us when it came to setting up his fortune. It was still his talent and intelligence that brought him that far. Trump is literally just coasting on what he inherited with no real talent or intelligence behind it.
And the fact that Trump tries to obfuscate his level of wealth at every opportunity tells me that he probably hasn't used these advantages as competently as he could have.
