So I tried to post a thread in the video section when I got this error back. My exact title was "The fascist philosopher behind Vladimir Putin’s information warfare". What's up with that?
I think it may be the apostrophe in "Putin’s". It's really subtly different than the one you're using in the word "what's".
I'm curious to why this is a thing, or why it hasn't been fixed. It was an issue on oldpunch, as well.
My question is why are there two different characters for an apostrophe? I've seen that before and it always bugged me.
I'd assume with the new forums it's an incompatibility with Quill, the thing Garry's using to format posts. On the old forums it had something to do with vBulletin being crap and not properly supporting Unicode to my knowledge. (Which is probably roughly the same issue with Quill but it's less of an excuse there since Quill is much newer.) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostrophe#Unicode There's actually several types which serve some different purposes.
Being unable to handle ’ is really common. I think it is something to do with it not being an ASCII character but I'm not sure.
