Thanks to Tesser for the guide. I know they are not shaved and the uniform not proper, but I didn't find any parade uniform; then I did with what I had. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/927058346487848972/DD637781866E3108FBD993171DECBEE3048A8FB5/ Phase 1
https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/927058346487682405/2A590E7BCA19E6F7C56598C6EFB819854D94429E/
Phase 2
https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/927058346487682788/35F7CCD7E18AF4B051CDD16901E8D899B962AB11/
Phase 3
https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/927058346487853829/DF18B448D78CDCA31C0186A0284B8D3BAE185E86/
Phase 4
https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/927058346487854164/4674E5E3314E567303373A090CBCE4F9E2A76830/
desperately needs better shadows. adjust your shadows settings, use Soft Lamps, or do anything that actually makes the soldiers cast shadows on themselves as well as the ground.
Soft Lamp was used, maybe the second layer was a bit too bright then !
Judging by the shadows, I guess you set the radius a bit too high. Unless you're going for an overcast scene, I'd keep the radius lower than 10.
the main sky layer radius is about 2000 but use 1000 if you wanna do an overcast sky
I was talking about the main light (in this case; the sun), but why would you set the radius lower for an overcast sky? The lower the radius, the sharper the shadows, so I think you would want to do it the other round.
