The SRT Demon is representative of one of the things which I absolutely despise about modern cars: non-stop, escalating limited editions. Just imagine it: Back a few years ago, the top-of-the-line Dodge Challenger was the SRT8 392. But if you bought that then too bad, your pride and joy lost part of what made it special when they made the Hellcat. And even if you got the Hellcat, well fuck you, here’s the Demon which you could have got if you just waited a year longer.

Mercedes-AMG is especially bad with this too, eg the whole AMG GT, AMG GT S, AMG GT R thing.
