Actually, America has only started supporting Israel in the late 1960s as at the time Israel became a strategic partner in the strategically important Middle East which during the cold war was mostly dominated by Soviet client states. Which also explains the military aid.
Fun fact: since the 1979 peace treaty with Israel and up until the recent revolution Egypt has also been getting a ton of military aid from the USA, making it the second largest recipient of foreign aid from America.

That list of Senators with dual citizenship (and "dual loyalty", of course) mostly lists American born Jews like, say, Richard Blumenthal and Barbara Boxer, the first on the list.
All Jews are entitled to Jewish citizenship, which according to the maker of the list and obviously you makes them all (and by extension all American Jews) of questionable loyalty.
