Nazis are the worst scum on this planet. Wish we could be rid of them.
You'd think people would be intelligent enough to see what happened in the 30s and 40s and realize "Hey maybe we shouldn't copy those ideals"
Humans are complex and diverse thinkers socially swayed, and influenced by a variety of ideologies. As a self-domesticated species we are inherently flawed, so our branching assorted perceptions is a double-edged sword. There is always going to be consequences when finding benefits for the future.
Great he went to high school in my neighborhood.
We also have people who unironically think the earth is flat so yeah, us humans be can be a retarded fucking bunch.
"as long as ______ doesn't affect me, it's not bad and should be the policy of every human being because I like it"
Oh sure, it only has to launch him at around 100,000 km/h
Sadly, at this speed he would cease to exist before leaving the atmosphere.
The extremely bright upward travelling meteorite would look pretty interesting though, so I'm up for it.
No, that's ridiculous. You can't do that to a person, even if they're a neo-Nazi.
Trebuchet's don't launch things that high.
Let's not set a precedent for launching toxic waste into the Sun. I don't think we have an adequate enough understanding of how the Sun functions to predict the consequences.
That's how you get space nazis
You know back in the forties, we could just murder them.

I blame the prison system, partly. The Aryan Brotherhood does a fair bit of recruiting there, I hear.
Sounds like a bunch of intellectual wankery to me. Could have summed it up with "for the most part, people are tools" and it'd effectively be the same.
I think the way Neo-Nazism is taking a foothold in various areas is because that it's developed far, FAAR from it's original grounds in Weimar Germany from the 1940's.
Nowadays it's more accepting of almost anyone who's skin is white, and the way the economic downturn is effecting North America & the problems happening with Europe has made it
become much more welcoming to people it originally was permanently shuttered from. The most important aspect of this is that it preys on the genuine ideas and motivations of most of it's
recruits who just want to help people. And then, while the recruits have been around the more senior members for a prolonged period, gradually indoctrinates them.
Truly, no matter what, Neo-Nazism is a more dangerous and developed entity than what most would think. And, currently, this new beast is taking root in a large part of society.
People know these ideas, whether espoused partially or fully dogmatic, aren't really accepted by society or should be. They're more talked about informally; from person to person in small
groups or on one-to-one conversations. With the rarer conventions being held when they've finally have gotten enough momentum.
A lot of people who oppose this -- Or rather, the subset of people who are more inclined to use violence fail to realize this is what the Neo-nazi's want and vastly prefer. They want legitimacy.
To fully tackle this movement isn't to bash their heads or initiate the violence but try to open a dialogue not aimed towards their senior members but to their most recent.
This isn’t how you win over the support of people to be against extreme ideologies. You’re just creating another extreme which legitimizes them.
It’s less that people are trying to defend Nazis, but more like we have to respect everyone’s rights equally. Protections put in place for the benefit of everyone else shouldn’t be removed or selectively enforced just because Nazis use them to their advantage. Doing so would have the opposite effect by just pissing people off and causing more of them to emphasize with the far right groups.
The government can’t round up and prosecute people for having a shitty genocidal ideology unless they have first committed a crime, or unless the government has actionable intelligence of intent to commit a crime. This is probably why they are monitoring those groups of extremists.
For now better alternatives for combating this would be to actually fix shit in our countries so less people are at risk of falling into that ideology. Also better education and some propaganda/memes would probably go a long ways too. You’re not going to get instant results but extrajudicial punishment by activists or having the government enforce thoughtcrimes is going to end in disaster.
Sorry for the comment being too vague, incoherent, and/or hollow. Just trying to have a philosophical outlook on things.
