[Trump stooge] made up [thing that would benefit Trump] is something I'm excited to see even more of this year.
You would think the mess Cohen is in Rudy would know better to make shit up.
Continuing the tradition of Trump's lawyers lying about Mueller's probe wrapping up to make their maninfant boss and his voting base happy.
Anyone who believed this hasn't been paying attention. Mueller has indicated he intends to be running this investigation into 2019.
One great thing about the Trump presidency is that it's become clear that his contacts make up a network of wealthy, very corrupted individuals. And it looks to me like Mueller's trying to catch 'em all in the same net.
You know, when I heard all this stuff from Giuliani that was "from Mueller's team," I found it odd that that the special council itself wasn't telling us this stuff, but I pushed the thought out of my mind, because surely, nobody would be stupid enough to lie about what another legal team says
I am consistently surprised by the world today
Not the least bit surprised. My first thought upon hearing the "news" was "Uh huh, suuure they did".
I'm just going to treat everything that comes out of Giuliani's mouth as inane rambling until proven otherwise. The man is a trainwreck of stupid and I am honestly still somehow surprised that trump employs him.
~Birds of a feather flock together~
Ramblings of dementia riddled man turns out to be false...more at 11
The moment I saw that Giuliani was the sole source of this claim, with no official statements or confirmations from the DOJ to the same effect, I reckoned there was a much better chance than not that the claim was bullshit, which is the only reason I didn't bother to post the story here when it initially broke. Not even a smidge surprised to see it was.
Pro-Tip: every word out of Trump's mouth, or the Their goal is to spread confusion, frustration, and misinformation so as to undermine the public faith and/or interest in this investigation prior to its natural conclusion. Ignore them; wait for verification from DOJ sources before accepting anything that Trump's cronies have to say regarding the investigation.
Did anyone actually believe him? From the moment Giuliani was brought on by Trump he's been spouting bullshit to distract and confuse people.
you'd think the way his other lawyers said exactly the same thing last year would give him pause.
See, that operates on the silly train of thought that Trump is a logical person who's sound of mind and thinks things through.
no but trump stopped listening to his other lawyers when thanksgiving rolled around and mueller didn't exonerate him.
I think trump is such a dillusional, irrational person that has never had to face the consequences of his actions and genuinely believes he did no wrong, but that' also to say he really could shoot someone in times square and think he did no wrong as well.
