Wow, it's like the Sequencer from LBP2 on steroids.
God, I miss LBP2. The Logic got me into programming.
I'm so glad this wonderfully bizarre company found themselves in a situation with Sony that offers seemingly infinite freedom in terms of development. LittleBigPlanet was already one of my favourite games of last gen, and was definitely one of the most defining of that entire generation; and this is somehow looking even more incredible/groundbreaking than that was.
This is super cool, but I can't help but think it's wasted by being in a game and by being exclusive to a console. I wish it was on PC. At this point it's a game engine except you can't publish your game outside of it. Most features in this video are stuff I'd love to see in Unreal or Unity or FL Studio.
I guess in this case it's audio stuff so you can always record your performance in there in separate layers then transfer it to PC to use other tools.
