sounds like there's gonna be some rough competition but hopefully that means more accessible travel to and from africa. I'd love to visit the continent someday.
It's a government backed company and the only east African country starting to take air travel seriously right now. Also the fact that they can finally do this and put more planes into the air is a sign that things are cooling down.
A government-backed company can and most likely will still need competition to keep a healthy and optimally customer-friendly market as possible.
its pretty telling how powerful these aircraft have gotten that seemingly any country with a few billion can get some far flying affordable aircraft from any of the major manufacturers
