http://wduwant.com/index_uploads/uploads/09651e4ed027.jpg I've been playing a lot of stalker lately Because I'm indecisive as fuck there's also a cropped version http://wduwant.com/index_uploads/uploads/d4f45a7c85c9.jpg And a stylish little version I came across while editing http://wduwant.com/index_uploads/uploads/e41273d63326.jpg Video of me making this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hFazXKmwTk&t
I like it, although it's a bit noisy: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/710/79db3fb3-6c6c-4df3-b205-91dd2f4fd8f2/image.png Might be because mipmap textures are disabled - you should consider controlling noise either with DOF, or filter>reduce noise
anti-aliasing is nonexistent.
downscaling the picture should resolve both noise and AA or you can upscale the picture and downscale again to the same resolution but this will give you a blurry frame. i love how the lightbounce is lightning up the scene in this one
This is really neat. I really enjoy watching the time lapse videos themselves actually. My criticism: When you do light bouncing, make sure to light it up a bit more or make that layer more visible in Photoshop. On the right of the screen the shadows are nicely lit, but as you go to the left, the wall to the left of the hanging shovel and the back of the blue train in the middle are way too dark. I can see how they are lit up from the bottom a bit due to the light bounce, but set that light bouncing radius a bit higher. It was the right thing to do when it came to cropping the lower part because that stuff appears low res. I also really liked the 5:13 pic in the video. Also, what could've worked out as a neat concept here as well is to have the TV itself float in the air and be turned on with a slightly light blue glow to contrast the orange fire. A kind of cool anomaly. Great angle and composition overall. Sorry for my recent absence, life has been getting in the way of fun.
That anomaly idea would've been so good... that's getting logged for a future scene. Thanks for the tip too, and good to see you're back. Went ahead and made some slight improvements based on feedback so far http://wduwant.com/index_uploads/uploads/5767e8007993.jpg
Yes, train looks definitely better! I would make the wall to the left of the shovel more like the train wall. Eh, i guess it's good enough.
