The troubling scenes in question drew the attention of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, according to THR. In
the movie, there is one scene in which Max is grabbed inappropriately,
which then leads to a character telling him to relax and go to a "zen place." Though intended to be humorous, the scene was criticized for copying the same tactics that child abusers use when "grooming children;" a form of manipulation that involves "telling them to pretend they are somewhere else." This
is used as a running gag throughout the movie, and later, the success
of their investigation depends on Max's willingness to allow people to
grab him inappropriately. Global Road promptly responded to the
criticisms, explaining that they had no intention of drawing negative
parallels with the scene, but will make necessary changes in order to
remove any suggestive material.
From what I heard it's a scene where for some reason they fixate on the dogs balls (after they shave his asshole). The dog doesn't want his balls to be checked and the doctors and the other dog is telling Max (the main dog) to relax and go to a happy place. The film then proceeds to give the dog stockholm syndrome and he has a dream of himself dancing with Will Arnets character to dirty dancing, finally concluding with the dog being gay for will arnett's character.
This is a shame because from what I heard it was going to topple both Avengers and Solo for that number 1 box office spot.
Poor delicate people. What would they do if they found themselves out in the real world where the animals are fucking all the time?
I think there is a stark difference between two dogs humping and a human character continuously fondling a dogs balls (against its will) for a long period of time, sexualizing the entire thing.
whether or not you think it's offensive, it's still a pretty bizarre thing to put in a movie
I was assuming this wasn't a PG movie, so I should prolly be rated with books. In this case, that is a fucked up scene to have in a rated PG movie.
I dunno, if Tom Green can jerk off a horse I don't see why Will Arnett or whoever can't jerk off a dog
because Freddy Got Fingered wasn't incredible questionable and uncomfortable or anything as it is
Pretty sure that was the point. People like Tom Green made their careers out of making people uncomfortable. I personally don't see this as over the line.
