I am okay with this. This feels it has more justification to exist than Solo does.

If it doesn't feature IG-88 being a huge dick then count me out.

I just hope it's not another prequil, his story has already been mostly covered by clone wars and rebels. If it's post sarlac I'm gonna be stoked. Hell who am I kidding, I've got him tattooed on my arm for Christ sake. I'm stoked either way.

The problem I see with this is they might not let him make a film featuring a bad person. They may make him tone down the fact Bobba Fett is a ruthless bounty-hunter who killed and captured innocent people for the Empire.

Long as Mangold gets to hold the reins all the way through, I’m gonna see it regardless. Though I think we all know it’s never gonna top his best movie. You know the one I mean. The one with Hugh Jackman at his best. Kate & Leopold.

Personally I'm interested in Bossk's arc as an accountant who becomes a bounty hunter to deal with the stress of supporting a family.

The most obvious rumor finally confirmed. GREAT choice of director, tho. Can't fucking wait. Now just announce the Obi-Wan prequel with Ewan McGregor tia also, R-rated seems kinda weird for a star-wars film lol. I mean sure that'd be cool but also totally not needed and not really in keeping with what Star-Wars has always been (minus the occasional dismemberment lol). I wouldn't hold my breath for that in the slightest.

Here's hoping it's set after he clambers out of the sarlacc pit. I love the underworld characters in star wars, especially bounty hunters, so i'm going to be hyped as fuck for a boba fett movie

A film based on the Phasma book could actually be really good. I thought it was one of the better and definatly more unique books in the new canon.

if boba is supposed to be a clone and they're still sticking with prequel stuff, does that mean temuera morrison will be back? PLEASE?

If they don't get Temuera Morrison to play him (which they really should), I feel the next best choice to play him would be Manu Bennett.

The guy's still pretty physically fit for his age, and considering how Boba Fett would likely be masked for most of the movie, you could easily use a stuntman for some of the action scenes. I think he could totally pull it off.
