Looks better than I thought it would be.
This weird spanish film made me feel happy inside.
It looks sweet enough to rot your teeth, but that looked like a summary of the film.
Pooh is scaring the shit outta me, somebody backtrack this with some creeping horror music.
Glad to hear Jim Cummings in here.
eh tbh, the designs fit the mood perfectly. Since the idea is that Robin is now an adult, basically makes sense how all the characters appear old and rugged.
if I'm not mistaken, the designs are meant to be a hybridization between the animated characters, as well as the original toys

it isn't how he looks imo but more of how he talks like a psychopath
Looks very much like it borrows a lot from Hook. This is gonna be awesome! Looks like they also found Mara Wilson 2.0.
At first I wasn't too enthused, but watching this trailer I'm going to convince my mom to see this with me. When I was a baby she used to play this song to calm me down if I was upset:

I still kind of tear up hearing it because it brings back good memories. I'll probably cry bitch tears during the movie but I think it'll be a good experience.
The way Pooh speaks in this makes me think of Yoda for some reason.
Does it end with him dying in a hunt?
I don't even like Winnie the Pooh like that but yeah this is definitely going to make me cry. Anything that has to do with growing up and embracing the past and the present is a big sweet spot for me. Toy Story 3 still hurts to watch
This is going to be one of those movies that I'm going to see and definitely cry at.
Christ, they wouldn't look out of place in an episode of Bagpuss.
Tigger just seems... off. Maybe it's the aging thing, but I expected him to have a bit more bulk.
Fun fact, Daft Punk sampled this in their song "Face to Face"
If there isn't a scene referencing the home run derby, I'm going to be disappointed.
This made me feel some type of way.
Surely Christopher Robin will say one of his most iconic lines.
Eeyore sounds different. Is Peter Cullen doing the voice but changed it or did they get a new actor? Jim sounds the same as always for Poor and Tigger and I'm happy for that. I'm definitely getting Hook vibes ala adult Peter Pan so I'm excited for this.
Why though? Cullen would jump to do Eeyore the minute a theatrical Winnie the Pooh was coming. He's done the character since the late 80's. He wasn't the first, but he appeared more than anyone previously.
Has nobody mentioned "Igor"? The Donkey's meant to be Eeyore, not some hunch-back that says 'Yeth, mathter'.
I looked it up, and apparently it’s because in the Spanish version of the Disney-related material for Winnie the Pooh (not sure about the original books), Eeyore’s name was changed to Igor.
Probably because it's Disney, they have fuck you money and want to load the cast with more "recognizable" names. The only reason some more well known actor isn't doing Pooh's voice is because Jim's performance is iconic and people would be upset that it was different.
But it's Mutherfukin' Peter "Optimus Prime" Cullen. Surely he and Cummings are big enough names on their own.
Ask anyone who isn't a fan of Transformers that question, and you have your answer.
