• How to tell if an addon is conpatable with Gmod 13?

Hello, I was looking in your addons area on facepunch, when I came across a few interesting addons (pLogs to be exact) that I wanted to mess around with. I put them in my addons folder, rebooted my private server and tried to go on, when just, nothing changed at all. 1. Is this addon ompatable with the current Gmod? 2. For future references, how do I check myself if its compatable?
You probably should message the creator of said pLogs so he can tell by himself.
Thank you, I will try.
pretty sure plogs would work on gmod13 although it hasnt been updated for ~2 years (github) so a bug or 2 might occur but most likely not
No matter what I do, pLogs just is not working. There is no errors, however when typing in the command to access it, nothing happens at all. Any suggestions on what to do?
You've installed it incorrectly, if there are no errors, no commands, you've just installed it incorrectly So you better gonna REALLY find those errors in console when server boots or read the instructions
what OS is your server? if your server's OS is linux try renaming the pLogs folder so it's all lowercase another possible issue if the file structure it should be like this garrysmod--1 addons--2 folder_containing_a_legacy_addon--3 materials--4 lua--5 autorun--6 server--7 client--8 1 is the main garrysmod folder, 2 is where your server's legacy addons go, 3 is a folder containing a lua folder, it will NOT be read by linux if it contains capitals or weird characters 4 is where any materials your addon uses, 5 is the lua folder
I changed everything to lowercase, and the file structure is auto cause I use a host, and yet I still have nothing :/
