Trump lies, says NYT source "doesn't exist", is immediately proven wrong

Yo, this is a story all about how Trump's lie got flipped turned upside down, and I'd like to take a minute just sit right there, I'll tell you how he became the prince of a place called daycare
At the New York Times, reported and written, in the briefing room is where they spent a lot of time of time sittin; chillin out maxin, hearin some slanders, and shooting some questions up at Sarah Sanders
When a senior official who was waxing profound, started briefing journalists on background. They published one little thing and then Trump got scared and said "you're making up your sources, this is very unfair"

This called for a response and the reporters said 'blow me', thought they'd take some inspiration from the firing of Comey. If anything it seemed that Trump had sour grapes, but they thought nah forget it: oh lordy, the tapes!

I pulled up the Twitter page of Yashar Ali and I yelled to myself "oh shit, Trump is owned". Looked at his kingdom he was finally there, to sit on his throne as the prince of daycare

Living in a post truth society is so much fun, right guys?
This background briefing shit isn't normal. Why is the administration communicating its official position on the North Korean situation through an off-camera official who you aren't allowed to name or identify?
I think this is rather indicative of the most pathetic aspect of Trump's presidency: his and his administration's bold-faced (or skullfuckingly stupid, if you prefer that) straight-up lies and rampant gaslighting, despite how easily disproved they are.
because no one wants to take an official stance and risk getting contradicted, cut off and fired within the hour
because even well over a year in, this administration is still barely a government
because this is a mix of republican officials, former CEOs and occasional government veterans helplessly floating atop a wildly churning sea and being pulled in every direction by the current, like a thin sheen of oil
such petty bullshit and this is what america wants too.
why can't we have a government that just works and isn't inherently evil?
Define "What America wants". He lost the popular vote by over 2 million ballots.
i think the title should be 'deep state get so efficent at faking evidence they prepare false testimonies in advance of trump's statements, psychic vampires working for hillary suspected'
because trump would never lie or go against reality he has the bigliest most healthy brain just ask his doctor who has handwriting very similar to trump because he wants to be like trump.
everyone wants to be like trump. trump is a great guy. a very strong and smart guy. everyone says so, except trump since he's so humble. he's the most humblest.
I have yet to meet a Trump supporter that has remorse about him. He's "the greatest president ever" and all the other platitudes to them. Ya he lost the popular vote by 2 million but his supporters do buy everything fox and his PR guys say 100%
I've met plenty of former Trump supporters who have been disappointed with his occupancy of the white house, not to mention a huge amount of people who have been opposed to him from the very start. The people who are still cheering for him are a minority.
Because this White House is afraid to talk to the media. They have a massive accountability problem. A full year ago Trump was calling the free press his real enemy, and now you see the effects.

Sanders' press briefings are basically a waste of time and not even worth calling "press briefings".
The Republican Party's been transformed into a Trump cult more than anything else.
This is fucked up man, how the fuck can the president just go around and lie like this? Why isn't it illegal for such a person to use his position of authority to knowingly lie?
Abuses of office by the President are punished by impeachment, a political enforcement action, as opposed to criminal indictments through the criminal justice system (which largely rests in the executive's hands by way of the DOJ).
Once upon a time the founding fathers thought no one would ever be so stupid as to pack Congress with partisan cultists who care more about taking over the government rather than working with it. Checks and balances only work when someone actually uses them, and House Republicans are negligent and derelict in their duties to hold the White House accountable because they benefit if they don't.
