can you help me, the server works it just won't show up in community
Did you downloaded mods ?
Make sure the server is started, and test out the connection by directly connecting with your given IP address. If you can connect, type in the server name (Usually just a keyword, rather than the whole name works) and see if it appears under any of the categories.
whenever i try to connect to my server through rust it keeps crashing! (rustclient.exe)
If you search for it in the SEARCH box, do you find it?
Is it reproducible, as in is it only happening when you connect to your server, or to every other server?
If it's just your server, I recommend doing a reinstall of your service and see if that helps. If not, you'll need to contact your Game Host Provider, cause this sounds like a issue that might be on their end.

Is your server local or online hosted?
I'll be posting this one a lot. Disable IPv6. If you are running from home just use some Google Fu to find the how to for whatever OS you're running.
If you're running from a host. Just ask and send them this Reddit post. It worked for me.
I run 3 servers. If I was lucky 2 would list. After this change was made, all 3 listed instantly. I had others check for me and they had the same result. I checked after the servers restarted and they are still listing.
Give it a shot. It can't hurt.

Well I remember a time when only 200 servers would show at any time in the search. If you were lucky enough to be 201 you had to join via IP.
but i don't want to play alone and i connect and look on the list in a timely manner
