Some players can't connect to my garrys mod server

Recently a problem has started to pop up seemingly random.

It started with me, the owner of the server, not being able to connect without using a vpn. The problem fixed itself after a server restart. However later it started popping up more and more and is not fixed by a restart.

The problem always is the same: Players try to connect but gmod doesnt even seem to be able to make a connection to the server. The server does show up in the list for everyone else (I dont know if it does for those who cant connect).

The day this started happening I installed a script that would ban people who use family sharing to get around bans. However this addon works by issuing a new ulx ban and not making the server refuse connections. That day I also installed a addon for more ulx commands.

The script I used is now removed from github (wierd). Again I dont think it has anything to do with it.

What I am using:
A VServer I rented. Its running Ubuntu Server and is using LGSM as a Manager Script. The firewall is UFW and I allowed the server ports.

Some other people have been complaining about lag and getting respawned randomly.

If this problem gets further out of hand, it could become a big problem. Please help me fix this mess.

random respawns is weird..you should uninstall all addons exept ULX and see if people now can join or get respawned. If they dont, then you can a
put back every addon, restart, see if it works, add the nex addon, restart, see if it works, add the next addon. . .

You could always do a fresh install to see if the problem still occurs.
