What do you guys think adding Weather to the game, Wind Storms that batter Wood and Stone walls, Typhoons ripping off roofs, Hurricanes, Snow fall.
I think it would be great to add natural events to the game, making people choose building areas more wisely.
Hell I think it would be cool to have Scientist patrols checking bases from time to time.
Weather
From plain old windy days and lightning to acid rain, radstorms and hurricanes, spice up the days in rust with a variable weather system.
Already on the Roadmap ;)

fog is a good idea. but sometimes it happens for a long time then it makes you nervous.
I think they disabled automatically changing weather since unity bug causes leaking roofs when it rains
Players got a little tired of getting wet when inside their bases with metal or stone roofs, rain was handy for filling up water barrels etc but otherwise was a pain in the a*,
When they introduced snow it looked good but at the same time they introduced "cold" and is was very cold so if you had a base in the snow biome you had to make sure you placed a fire near your sleeping bag , because if you got killed you could freeze to death before you could get clothes from storage when you respawned, made life interesting,
Will they return snow and rain?

I like rain. but not strong.
if it interferes with the game. you can make the rain rare.
It'll most likely be fixed and polished when the time comes, hopefully no more inside raining.
Not sure about wind storm ripping off stone walls, but yea would like to see some raining again.

Well yea, I just thought it would be cool to sneak around in a thunderstorm where foot steps would be hard to hear, and I would be hard to see.
