Has been my choice for years. My father passed away earlier this year, and for the funeral I suggested that this be played as the recessional song (it was either that, or the funeral directors would choose a generic song). Dad didn’t have any requests for a funeral song nor any favourites appropriate for a recessional, hence my input.

And the lyrics were fitting. The sun was shining that day. And if you were religious, it would have seemed that heaven wasn’t far away.
