Trump is so transparent at this point that it doesn't surprise me at all. This inquiry better yield some fucking results though, as we've been hyped up for so long and I fear that it won't be enough. Still, I think it is actually better for Democrats if Trump remains in office, rather than Pence, as Trump is more likely to lose the next election and we'd use up political capital on Impeachment if we proceed with it.

Thats one thing that's terrified me about Trump is how much his toxic Ego and erratic behavior has tainted American Politics and American society forever. This is how Corruption and other forms of government Decline occurs. They flood the news with their bullshit to the point the population becomes apathetic and begins to give less and less of a shit of how the country is run. I do indeed think people are apathetic, and I am currently becoming really disengaged with politics due to how depressing it is and its impact on my mental well-being. There's a swathe of right wing governments winning elections all over the world right now, and I feel that my views may never be represented again.
