Still doesn't answer if it's Fallout: Online or a "side game" like New Vegas.
so what the fuck is it?
Supposedly rumors are, Fallout Online. https://twitter.com/jasonschreier/status/1001826335189274625
Just noticed that the party is for a so-called 'Reclamation Day' so it's probably celebrating the day that people step outside Vault for the first time.
I'm placing bets that it's a game similar to New Vegas.
I'm going to disagree. Online games are easily monetised.
I really hope this is just Kotaku pulling stuff out of its ass to stay relevant. MMO's are an oversaturated and pretty underwhelming market all at the same time right now. I doubt Bethesda would tank money into an MMO that would probably do maybe just as well as ESO.
https://i.imgur.com/OAxrT4i.png There is this too. And the guy who leaked FO4 2 years before release knew about 76.
New Vegas except the gambling is done through microtransactions?

https://venturebeat.com/2018/03/09/fallout-and-skyrim-team-brings-in-live-services-experts-from-bethesdas-battlecry-studio/ They collapsed in BattleCry and brought on the GaS team, I would imagine it's something close.
What happened to Fallouts 5 through 75?
I doubt its an MMO, unless they thought building an MMO on Fallout 4's engine and assets was a good idea.
Props to them for using the original pip boy, though I guess they had to remake it a bit to make it wrist-mounted
I'm willing to bet this is a game based around using the settlement system to rebuild the wasteland after this control vault is opened.
Looking forward for the other 71 fallout games
As if bethesda would use that Engine to make an Online game. Come on guys use your noggin'. Micro-transactions doesn't necessarily mean multiplayer.
Hoping this one turns out good.
At least Bethesda finally used their brains and will make a 20 years old wasteland, since they can't make a 200 years old one properly.
https://boards.fireden.net/v/thread/401449791/#q401465240 Fallout 76 was mentioned last December on /v/
It's funny that Bethesda make the #Saveplayer1 video 5 months ago a now they're making an online Fallout game.
That is to say, IF that guy is correct. He might be wrong you know.
Their mainline games are all gonna be singleplayer, and they've already released a MMO for TES, so it makes sense that they release an equivalent for their other big property.
I might be overreacting, it's probably because how lackluster Fallout 4 is, that kinda makes me worry.
I hope you all please buy my game
It could be a Rust, 7 Days, Conan Exiles, Ark, etc. survival style with servers, but maybe a little more story oriented. It'd cut down on the need for voice acting at least.
I hope to god it's not an online game. Unless it's co-op. That I'm cool with.
honestly dont mind more destiny/division-esque games if done right i like a game i can buy once and watch it evolve with content over years
Would be odd if the vault is in Virginia since it's right next to DC which has vaults numbered 100 or more.
