And a stream of the Kickstarter demo for those of you who want to see the game in action (hangar footage starts at 10:20, gameplay at 11:56). If, however, you aren't into streamers with facecams, here's a much shorter demo which was posted around 5 months previous:

Dev of this is a pretty cool dude and I have a great hankering for Ace Combat-likes given the absolute desert there's been for good ones these past eight years on not-consoles.
The game itself so far has a really solid foundation and is already a blast to play from what I've experienced over the last few months. I'm not too big on flight games, but it helped to scratch that 6 year old HAWX itch in me and I'm honestly very excited on how the full game would go. Although I feel like the dev should make a level editor if the new AC game doesn't end up doing it to not completely bury himself when it comes out.
To really complete the Ace Combat clone experience, it also has a pretty nice OST

Is there VR support though?
Oh man, beat me to it. I was waiting until the demo got patched and then he goes and meets the KS goal in only 16 hours. Yeah I've been following this game since its inception and I'm super happy to see it come this far. Dude deserves all the success he's getting and going to get because the absolute madman fucking did it.
I'm confused, wasn't Vector Thrust considered a pc spiritual successor to Ace Combat? And it was crowd funded and everything too- I'm getting some major deja vu
Vector Thrust was okay, and that's kind of the nicest thing I can say about it, especially when compared to this. VT never nailed the fundamentals in remotely the same way that Project Wingman is.
Oh man, I've been playing the Alpha many times over. I'm totally on this boat
I downloaded the demo on a work pc I had just built to test it out
I ended up playing it for like an hour
Is this by the same devs of House of the Dying Sun?
The kickstarter demo build removed HMAA missiles, totally understandable those things were so broken, you could destroy the 2 aces in a matter of seconds that come in at the end of the mission Clear Skies by just launching 4 missile per plane and watch the anime missiles do their work.
