I still can't believe there's a Powerpuff Girls character in the band now.
Pretty good song, got that perfect summer feel to it. That said, I can't help but feel that Gorillaz kinda lost their edge somewhat. Maybe it's just me getting older and more jaded but I kinda feel that a lot of modern music has lost the edge it used to have, everything is either kinda feel good or it is just crazy edgy to the point where it just gets ridiculous.
I still don't get the hate in Humanz, I enjoyed it.

For me the biggest flaw of it was how it sounded more like a modern R&B/Rap record and less like the massively varied albums Gorillaz used to make. The old albums blended a bunch of genres like rap, trip-hop, rock and punk and that's what I liked about them as a kiddo.
Supposedly that's actually Ace from the Gang Green Gang from Powerpuff Girls, and filling in for Murdoc; that's not Murdoc himself.

incohesive is probably the best word for it, it feels like all the pre-release singles (barring We Got the Power and Hallelujah Money) were from a totally different album and everything else was just stuff left over. imo Carnival is probably the only non-single that really sounds like it should be on the same album as Saturnz Barz.
