Now it appears that Ryan Reynolds — who plays the foulmouthed, fourth wall–breaking antihero — wants to one-up the so-called “most ambitious crossover event in history” by pairing his Deadpool the Guardians of the Galaxy. And, as it happens, so does James Gunn. Such a project is a long shot given the vast tonal differences between the two superhero franchises, but now that Disney has acquired yet another infinity stone in the form of Fox, anything is possible. https://twitter.com/JamesGunn/status/1000778981711396864 https://twitter.com/VancityReynolds/status/1000786300163805184 https://twitter.com/JamesGunn/status/1000788744176193536?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.indiewire.com%2F2018%2F05%2Fdeadpool-guardians-of-the-galaxy-crossover-ryan-reynolds-1201968998%2F
This wont see the light of day with Disney at the helm
Deadpool at Disney It [Deadpool] clearly has been and will be Marvel branded. But we think there might be an opportunity for a Marvel-R brand for something like Deadpool. As long as we let the audiences know what’s coming, we think we can manage that fine. - Bob Iger (the CEO of Disney)
Yeah Deadpool 2 is going to be the last R-rated X-Men movie once that deal with Disney finalizes. As much as I would love to see him and Rocket bouncing nonsensical foul mouthed jokes off of one another, it's not going to happen.
I mean...Disney is currently in the process of buying Fox. Deadpool needs a way into the MCU somehow!

I would love to see this, but there is very little chance of this being a thing. The only Disney would greenlight this is if Gunn uses characters that will be leaving GoG after the next movie so that it's a totally enclosed movie.
