The thing I love about the first Leopard (I know this is the Leopard 2) is that whilst Britain, the US and France were messing about with lumbering tanks with lots of armour, Germany just focused on a great gun and ignored armour, and I seem to remember reading that it beat the UK, US and French tanks handily, although obviously crew survivability is lower. Nice work on the recreation.
Well, I'm a Brit so I obviously love the Challenger, but I think the best tank the Brits had during the Leopard 1's first match up with other nations' tanks was either the Centurion or Chieftain.
