StarCraft: Ghost is like the Half-Life 3 of video games
I don't understand why they don't just reboot ghost now. I mean, they're a part of activation now, it's not like they don't know how to make shooters and I'm always down for some more franchise milking in another direction.
At least Blizzard finally admitted Starcraft Ghost was canceled. And Starcraft as a franchise continues on, whereas valve has completely abandoned Half-Life but continues to pretend it hasn't, in a shameless "carrrot and stick" ploy to keep fans invested in the company.
It was cancelled, that doesn't mean people aren't still asking for it to happen haha
Metal Arms: Glitch in The System is a great game, spent so many hours playing it, loved it, do wish it'd get a HD Remaster though.
Shame for players Swingin' Ape got sucked up into actigizzard. Really great guys.
Started watching this just out of curiosity.
Then he mentioned Swinging Ape and Metal Arms, and I just bursted out into "WHY DIDN'T THIS HAPPEN!?"
Seriously, Metal Arms is such a great game, and I would've loved to have seen another game by the guys behind it. Kind of a shame we'll never see a sequel to Metal Arms, and that they got booted off of Ghost to help on WoW, but all things considered, I guess Blizzard isn't a terrible place to end up.
at least blizzard still makes other games
I never heard of this game before
So bizarre that they went the route that they did - their footage of the game looked quite complete
I remember following Ghost as a kid and being so sad when it was 'cancelled' the first time
Its all about games as a service now, they can't exploit a playerbase for more cash in a single player experience.
