Hey guys
Can't remember when it started happening, but as of late, any game ran in fullscreen produces a crazy amount of edge flickering - more noticeable on games like FO4 with lots of foliage edges. It immediately stops when played in windowed mode, but not borderless windowed mode. Doesn't seem related to anti-aliasing except (maybe) in the severity of it, and wasn't easily resolved by rolling back to 382.53 drivers. DPI scaling is disabled in properties, and that's about everything.
System specs:
8700k @ stock clock
1080ti @ stock clock
16giggerbats @ stock 3000mhz
1050w PSU
a shitload of SSDs, with flickering in any game installed on any drive.
W8.1 64-bit
Currently 382.53 drivers from Nvidia
running at 1920x1080, no DSR
second monitor running 1600x900, but disabling has no effect
I'm leaning towards either a Windows setting or something in NVCP/Geforce Experience, but I can't find jack shit
do you have Vertical sync on? Running any program in windowed mode on Windows 8 or 10 puts it in vertical sync courtesy of dwm.exe
