• good 2d animation software?

Do any of you have recommendations for 2D animation software? its my sisters birthday soon and I would like to get her something she is interested in
Can't go wrong with flash. Though I guess it depends on how old she is. If she's like 12 or something maybe she'd like using Pivot.

If it's drawing animation I'd recommend OpenToonz which is the software Studio Ghibli uses in their movies. However, it's actually free.
I'd definitely recommend Toon boom Harmony if you have the money. Its absolutely great for traditional animation.
