The personally elected voice of the 'right' tries to basically ban all video games, but the people who overwhelmingly buy said video games, they are the ones that hate it.

I don't think Dave Rubin actually has any strong feelings or convictions on anything. If you've read interviews from people who talk about challenging the people he brings on his show he just says something along the lines that it's not his place and that he just wants to provide a platform. I'm pretty sure he just saw a niche to fill. The Rubin Report is pulling 30k a month from Patreon alone.
I don't understand what compels people to donate to a Patreon when it's pulling in that much money as the rewards are so rarely worthwhile. I only donate when a channel is small and needs it.

This isn't true. The left and the right are not the same at all. The fact that there's still outrage over the SJWs on twitter trying to censor games while the presidential administration putting together murder simulator montage videos is met with near silence and indifference is an undeniable proof of that.

As someone who is a big video game addict and someone who is probably further to the left on most issues that most people would talk about, I don't know what the fuck he's talking about. I do like to "get shit done" in video games, that's a major but not only reason why I play them. I don't think this conflicts with my politics and if he's just calling leftists lazy lol
