What's some of the weirdest shit you've found in a vehicle you've worked on?
For me the weirdest thing is probably going to be the Bugatti water pump that was in my 01 Audi. I'm curious if Bugatti just made a similar part at some point or what, I can't find any info on Bugatti water pumps for Audi other than someone else who posted on Audiworld saying they also found Bugatti parts in their Audi.
I've got a hose attached to my engine's air intake that winds itself around the engine bay and then abruptly ends without connecting to anything.
There were Porsche Cayenne calipers in the Allroad I had.
My car was built in Australia, but over the past few years of ownership, I’ve learnt that all of the electrics in it are actually Italian. Every now and then when I start it, something electrical is not going to work. But you never know what; it’s a lottery! One time the speedo and even the trip meter didn’t work. One time the engine decided to run on only half of the cylinders. One time the headlights didn’t work. And in the most recent event, the cruise control didn’t work. At this point I just laugh as soon as I realise which part had gone wrong that day.
The trick is to play the spider man 2 pizza theme. It will soothe it's Italian demons.
The Italian demons were not soothed. My car had its latest episode yesterday: the climate control didn’t work, the infotainment system didn’t work, and the turn key wouldn’t automatically return from ignition to just on.
Car worked like a charm again today though. Except that key problem.
I know its a little late, but bugatti is owned by VAG, as is audi. I'm not surprised there's some shared parts honestly
Did you try playing the ear rape version? Perhaps the old demons are getting hard at hearing.

so if you turn off the car and start it again do you get to re-roll your debuff or does your car just decide once a day
Actually re-rolls the debuff lmao
