Sony isn't waiting for E3 2018, will reveal 3+ PlayStation games.. It's also worth mentioning that they're doing this because of criticism of showing a lot of teaser a previous E3 conferences. Sony is trying a new format for its E3 press conference

I miss all the conferences being on one day. Was a helluva day

I'll be honest I never cared for the Sony conferences. Seems the more interesting stuff happened at all the other conference's.

Last year was very weak for them. I wonder how it will be this year.

Either they think they have a great line up and want to maximize hype and have a lot to work with, or they don't think their line up will be able to compete and want to get some stuff out before everyone else might overshadow them.

Yeah I remember one year all they announced was TV shows for their video service and Microsoft did something similar. Nintendo was pathetic that year too but they won because they actually showed off games

I've only been watching E3 a few years now, but I'd put EA at the very bottom, no contest. They could do their show in 20 minutes and be just as effective, because the vast majority of it is "yes, we're still making sports games" At least with Sony I'm interested in VR and the occasional exclusive.

I do wonder what they have to show. Most likely more Death Stranding, Spider-Man, Destiny 2, but aside from that I'm drawing a blank. I miss the days that you have to watch it on G4TV and whatnot to see all 3 conferences.

i feel with streaming and social media, e3 really isnt a spotlight event anymore fallout 76's reveal had over 200 thousand concurrent viewers

I hope Vicarious is making another Crash game. A real Crash 4, not that junk we got on the PS2

It's confirmed Death Stranding. Last of Us 2, Spiderman, and Ghost of Tsushima.

My E3 watchlist this year is Death Stranding, Fallout 76 (just to see what it is), Cyberpunk 2077, and the Prey standalone expansion. I'm feeling damn hyped.

That leak is likely BS because all signs point towards fromsoft's game being either a kuon sequel or an entirely new IP

Remember their so-called "legendary" E3 2015 that ultimate turned out to be a load of hot air? A Kickstarter, a game that was only notable because of how long it was delayed that it was supposed to release a whole console ago, and a remake of an old game that in turn will end up being a PS5 title at this rate even despite the fact that they made it episodic now (seriously, how do you screw up that bad on a remake?)

Let's be honest nothing can out hype Smash.

Please, that was the year we got both Smash 4 itself and the Mega Man character reveal, and the PS4 still used its "We're not the Xbone!" hype from that very E3 to ride easy for two years with no games.

A bit off-topic but I'm calling that Ubisoft trailers will include cringy "gameplay" videos that aren't really gameplay footage. (And the actual gameplay will look nothing like the reveal or something)
