Not surprised in the least. You go against the Golden Goose cult of personalities, you’re one of ”Them”; the enemy, just by a different name.
The person running against her in the runoff is a former dem who voted with Pelosi once, so that's probably pretty weird for gop voters.
(also the district I live in, voted for Williams but Isner seems okay)
