DarkRP i cannot use perma props although i set it for the owner rank?

Okay so i have the addon called perma props and originally only admins can use it so i wanted to change that in FPP and so i made a group called owner and i made myself the owner and i still cannot use it as it says "Toolgun restricted! Incorrect group!" Please help me fix this?

Try going to the PermaProp tool's settings and make it admin only instead of setting the group like you're doing.

Is there a way i can add more tick boxes so that i can set owner only?

Just make it superadmin only and don't give any other groups superadmin access.

The way perma prop works is superadmin has all the permissions when you first install it. What you need to do is add your self to superadmin give owner all the perms then you can add yourself back to owner. That is usually how I did it.

Yeah thats what im trying to do but how do i give the owner all the permissions? I tried adding a new group named owner and gave it permissions but that didnt work it still said incorrect group?

also you shouldn't be using FPP to restrict permaprops
permaprops has its own built permission system

when you select the tool, look at the build panel, there should be a button, i think it said "permaprops menu"
