Just in time for E3... Skate 4?! Please?!?!
On one hand, I'd like a Skate 4 considering that I never even had a chance to play Skate 3 and I can't find it anywhere.
On the other hand, this is EA we're talking about. After the whole Battlefront 2 thing, I can't exactly trust what they might do with it.
Any tricks other than a kickflip have to be found in a loot box. You have to get better versions out of lootboxes to increase your chance of successfully landing them.
Do sweet tricks to unlock the ability to buy loot crates that contain 1/5th of a new board. Get all 5 pieces of a certain board to use it! (Completed boards only usable for 1 week after pieces are combined)
Summon the spiral ophidian.
Tbh all the best glitches will probably be behind a paywall
I don't even want to imagine how a Skate 4 would look like without Black Box developing it.

These games are why I always flick the sticks like im doing tricks from it. I need to pick this up again, nothing like pulling out a 720 360 what-have-you flip against people online.
Plot twist Helix Snake's dad works at EA and pulled some strings to get Skate 3 back online.

Yep, no skate 4. No surprise being let down by EA again.
I'm glad they went from a small indie dependent on Kickstarter to being backed by Microsoft
I was really hoping for Skate 4 just for the sake of familiarity.
Now that EA has given fans a big "fuck you" as per usual, I'm happy to embrace something non-EA.
That just means there won't be fucking lootbox skateboards and pay-walls to deal with.
It give someone else a chance to carry the skateboard game torch, instead of money hungry tycoons.
uhhh has anyone played and been able to access any of the online functions other than simple matchmaking?? the home page still won't load, none of the Community Parks load, and nothing in the Replay section loads. matchmaking works, but online matchmaking literally was never shut off and you could find matches with other people fairly consistently over the last 3 years
