In places where people Google terms such as "Muslims are evil," search rates also go up for how to join ISIS, researchers found. very scientific
Maybe it's the other way around?
Using the very same method, I've uncovered that lemonade causes insomnia: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/1195/e1c0304f-90c1-4fe2-924b-dffc75cbf29d/what.PNG
My God, how deep does the conspiracy go?!?
You're right, persecution could never lead to radicalization!
I love how they totally admit that more research is needed to establish a causal relationship... and then they present a direct causal relationship.
I don't buy it!
No-one's arguing that here.
Correlation does not equal causation.
Radicalization is down to alienation, yes. It's also down to 2nd generation refugees not being aware that radicalization is what their 1st gen parents fucking fled from. If anything, radicalization of descendants of immigrants is also an indication of insufficient parenting and what the fuck can you expect from a person who fled a warzone, wrecked by PTSD and paranoia. Then the kids have no roots where they live and they look for roots "back home" start acting up, people start getting fed up with their "violent bullshit entitlement" and then we get persecution and radicalization. TL;DR: it's not as simple as what you represent it. It's not even as simple as what i said. Shit goes deeper and bending over backwards in the west won't solve it. Putting people in ghettos isn't gonna solve it. Closing the borders isn't gonna solve it. Radicalization is more about parental and systemic neglect than persecution.
What if the attackers are just really good at predicting which people turn to ISIS
