Sorry guys, we're going to delay the patch until tomorrow. There are some balancing issues with puzzles that result in players getting less loot overall rather than more. We can only change this during a wipe so better to wait a day than have a month of crap loot
The Update was delayed till tomarrow to finish the puzzel system. the puzzels would have been useless if they pushed the Patch anyway and we'd have to wait a month for a fix.
I don't care about the update being pushed for a day. What triggers me is how the team handles fixes. Like, if there is some big problem that needs a fix, why do they need to wait whole month to fix it? A week could just be enough like it used to.
Rust left early access so they changed the frequency of the updates so they're monthly now.
We can now enjoy the game without a ton of updates and let Dev discover and fix their bugs within a month giving us a chance of not having crappy bugs all the time.
Remember that you can just install the Rust Branch. Updates there are weekly and there's a ton of shit, but remember it will probably have bugs and u end up being frustrating because someone fck*** u by bug abuse...
U can see that the game now end up being more stable because of the monthly updates and there aren't forced wipes because something gone wrong with the update
All I'm saying, is that if you find a game breaking bug, everyone understands that it should be fixed as soon as possible, without waiting for a pre-defined update schedule. It's better than leaving the game with a bug for the rest of the month. Which has happend a few times after they switched to monthly updates.
