It's plastic surgery, she is doing surgery on people without proper equipment to deal with emergencies so if she fucks up the patients are in huge risk of death.
This is exactly what happened. A patients heart stopped, they had to call the ambulance and the stretcher did not fit into the elevator, thus they had to carry her down the stairs + she had to be sutured up due to the invasive 'tummy tuck' surgery costing even more time for her brain to get oxygen deprived.
What bothers me is the fact that they didn't bother suturing them while waiting for an ambulance. It's also not the doctors first time messing up, just this time around a life was essentially taken. You may as well be dead after you have severe brain damage.

Reminds me of the time one of my fellow interns decided a man dying of a massive heart attack was actually just fine and that the vital signs monitor was at fault, so he turned it off and walked away. Needless to say, that guy was deader than a doornail by next morning.
It ended with him getting chewed out in public, then getting fired, and having to pay a large sum as a settlement to avoid a legal battle.

She's a dermatologist, iirc the most they directly train to do is mohs surgery, and there doesn't seem to be evidence that she actually has undergone any extensive extra training to do be able to do shit like implants, tummy tucks, etc..
