It feels like they looked at Ni-Oh and went "oh shit we need that."
it's kind of amusing, a Japanese studio that does western fantasy, actually doing Eastern fantasy now
not the first time really.
look at otogi.
The mobility that comes with the grappling arm has big potential, SotC type boss pleas?
Got some Tenchu vibes off that too.
Go go Gadget arm?
Looks pretty neat, and quite a interesting take on the formula they've been using for a while now. Experimenting with mobility in Bloodborne probably helped a lot with this.
It's really cool to see how their games have progressed since Demon's Souls. The core gameplay is more or less the same every time, but they keep trying new things and building off what they have already done, which in turn makes the games feel totally different from one another. Definitely hyped for this, but seeing Activision included with this makes me a bit nervous.
Definitely optimistic, but with Activision as the publisher I will be waiting a bit after release to see if it will have the usual Activision monetisations.
It's totally gonna have loot boxes lol.
Yeah, unfortunately there is a strongly lingering possibility that Activision is going to completely fuck this up somehow.
Please don't fuck this up Activision.
They're just publishing it for consoles.
Unless a studio is directly owned by a publisher, they aren't going to control development in any way.
I think people fear that Activision got a hold of a new milking developer and is now planning to pump game after game from them until they are liquified. RIP Red Octane, Luxoflux, Sierra, and High Moon.
Though if what your saying is true, then we have nothing to really worry about. Though I kind of wanted Bloodborne II with new locations hinted from the Chalice Dungeon lore, this looks 10x better.
I hope to fuck and back it gets a PC release.
It says steam in the trailer.
It's already announced for a Steam release.
I can already see another hundred hours lost to this game, fucking hell.
So in Nioh we played as Irish Geralt in Japan, and in Sekiro we play as Japanese Geralt.
Nioh you played as the actual William Adams from historical records. With the shokugawa shogunate fighting demons created by soul stones. This is the true history, along with a oda being resurrected, and the queen of England wanting the soul stones for herself.
The cinematic intro here looks like from a PS3 game. There's hardly any shadows or shaders
